St. Paul's United Church of Christ presented the Hunger Prevention Council of Pierce County with a generous donation of $418.56 raised by their congregation, ensuring their neighbors, families and friends have access to milk and other dairy products on the shelves of its local community pantries.

"We are so grateful for the partnership with St. Paul's United Church of Christ and congregation for its more than $2,500 in monetary contributions and nearly 200 pounds of food items this past year, said new Hunger Prevention Council of Pierce County Executive Director Jennifer Thatcher.

Moola for Milk is solely funded by way of local donations and provides fresh milk and dairy products to community pantries across Pierce County located in River Falls, Prescott, Ellsworth, Spring Valley and Elmwood. Collectively, these pantries distribute fresh milk and dairy products to thousands of struggling families and individuals each year — mostly women, children and senior citizens.
